The Japanese have some great ideas about reducing the size of things, we have seen this with technology and not we are finding that they are trying to reduce the size of the furniture so that they can keep their rooms tidy.

Size is of a premium when it comes to Japanese real estate and as such, the overall floor space has to be used to its maximum effect, this principle can be used in similar places, as it is not just Japan where apartments are on the small side.
