With all the talk about how to save on energy and turn to LED lighting, here is a desk lamp that should come in handy as an alternative. Actually it solicits its power from something else, the telephone jack. The trickle of power they carry is apparently enough to power this 8 LED desk lamp instead of a plug or USB connector. Though it was presented in a pink color scheme, there is no word if other colors would be available. It retails for $4.69 and should come in handy as an emergency light for power outages.
