5-Years Limited Warranty Statement For Manufacturing Defects
Please read this Limited Warranty carefully. To maintain your Warranty, you will need to comply with the conditions stated here. This warranty is for manufacturing defects only and does not cover damages as a result of misuse.1.Please be sure to complete your Product Registration Card (included with this packet) and send it to the address shown on the front of the card within 30 days of purchase. Please maintain this Warranty Statement in a safe place along with your dated sales receipt. If you need to return your foundation, please follow the specified return-policy instructions. When moving your foundation after initial use, please remove the mattress on it and completely disassemble it (collapse the legs and fold the unit). Moving a fully assembled Better than a Box Spring™ risks bending the unit or damaging the legs, which will void your warranty.
2. Your new Better than a Box Spring™ come with a 5 years warranty against manufacturing defects that may compromise the sleep quality provided by the foundation Better than a Box Spring™ . The warranty starts on the date of purchase. No warranty will be honored without an original sales receipt. The warranty and financial responsibility of the manufacturer only applies to the Better than a Box Spring™ itself and does not extend to any mattress that is put on the Better than a Box Spring™.
3. Manufacturing defects include circumstances where the Better than a Box Spring™ has broken under normal use and no longer provides proper support for your mattress. Proper support is defined as a smooth, flat, rigid surface. In the event you encounter a manufacturing defect, please stop using this product immediately and call customer service. Please note that it is not uncommon for the short metal welds to become loose in transit or during normal use. A manufacturing defect for these welds is considered to be 5 or more at the time of purchase. The manufacturer can not be responsible for importer assembly by the consumer.
4. This warranty applies only when the foundation has been properly used by consumers who purchased the Better than a Box Spring™ from an authorized dealers as a new product. Proper use means using the foundation on a level surface where all legs touch the floor with an equal distribution of weight. Proper use also means that the Better than a Box Spring™ was not abused by the consumer, as defined by the manufacturer, including not exceeding weight capacity of 2400 pounds (1200 pounds on each frame unit) for a Queen size or 1200 pounds (600 pounds on each frame unit) for a Full size. Replacement of one piece or part of the Better than a Box Spring™ , does not constitute agreement to replace other parts. The warranty period will not be extended from the original purchase date if replacement parts are required.
5. If your Better than a Box Spring™ fails due to manufacturing defects, the manufacturer will repair or replace the foundation at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models and does not guarantee that the replacement part will match the existing piece or foundation.
6. In the event the Better than a Box Spring™ needs to be inspected by the manufacturer to determine a warranty claim, the transportation cost or removal cost is borne by the consumer.
